How Clouds, Temperature, and Gravity Move Water from Sky to Sea
Water is always moving through a cycle on, above, or below the earth’s surface water is changing between liquid (like the water you drink or you see in a lake or pool, solid (water when it’s frozen as ice) and gas (when water is a vapor in the air).
You will be able to answer:
- What process turns water vapor into cloud droplets?
- What must happen inside a cloud for rain to begin falling?
- Why can heavy rainfall increase pollution in rivers and oceans?
- How could repeated storms affect ocean chemistry and sea lion habitats?
